Reporting Problems to the City – How to do it and lodging a service request.

Have you also noticed that the grass in our Open spaces and Parks has been getting longer and longer and no-one seems to be doing anything about it.

We would like to encourage you to report any grass that needs to be cut, trees trimmed or roads weeded to the city.

Their website (a new website was launched yesterday) is listed below as well as the procedure to follow.

We ask that all residents report not only these above mentioned problems but all problems in the City via this site. The example below is our recent request for the grass next to Alphen  Hall  to be cut. – Go to  https://eservices1.capetown.gov.za/coct/wapl/zsreq_app/index.html

– Confirm the address(this would be the address of the complaint and not necesarily your address)

You should then receive a confirmation sms or e-mail with a service request number which you can then use to follow up on the complaint.
