Recover stolen goods

STOLEN GOODS TO VALUE OF R1m FOUND IN CLAREMONT

The public will have the opportunity to recover their stolen goods on SATURDAY 23RD JULY between 10h00 – 14h00 and residents who have had goods stolen recently are welcome to go to the station with their I.D. documents and identify their property.                         
Claremont SAPS have advised that they have arrested 2 Malawian National males and two South African males for the recent spate of thefts and  the SAPS believe they belong to a syndicate that operates in the area. SAPS Claremont Station commander, Ebrahim Joseph said the four were scheduled to appear in court on Friday morning, but the case was remanded. The suspects are expected to appear in Wynberg Magistrates Court on Monday on the possession of stolen goods and theft.

The items recovered include 21 bicycles, some of which are imported, household goods, construction implements and flat screen T.V.’s to the value of R1 million !
